AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Pasadena Police Officer’s Union PAC for re-election in 2010.

“Gov. Perry has been a true champion of the law enforcement community, and put his words into action through his dedicated efforts to ensure we have the tools we need to protect our communities,” said E.R. Rogge, president of the Pasadena Police Officer’s Union. “The Pasadena Police Officers Union PAC is proud to support the governor in his bid for re-election.”

The Pasadena Police Officer’s Union represents more than 200 members of the Pasadena Police Department and is a member of the Texas Municipal Police Association.

“The bravery and service of our state’s law enforcement community are crucial to making Texas the best place in the nation to live, work and raise a family,” said Gov. Perry. “I’m truly honored to receive the endorsement of Pasadena’s finest, who are a crucial component to our state’s excellent quality of life and the effort to keep our streets and communities safe.”
